Painting

We planned to go to the Star Wars exhibit at the Science Center, but when we arrived at noon, there were not any tickets available unto 5:00, so we went to the Seattle Children's Museum instead. Callie loved it. There is far mroe for her to do than at the Tacoma Children's Museum. She loved climbing up and down some foam stairs as well as a toddler sized set of steps. You can see her walk up the steps here. We ended the trip with painting. She did really well dipping the brushes in the pain and then painting on the paper (mostly). Things were going really well and I was amazed at how clean she was staying until she decided to put both hands (with paintbrushes in them) on top of her head. And she was getting hungry and tired, so she really didn't want to get cleaned up, and since we were in a public place, we just left with paint in her hair because we didn't want to subject everyone else to her screaming and I wasn't sure how I was going to get it out without a bath. She did get lots of smiles and comments as we were walking back to the car :)

Painting...as you can see her hands have already been on her head once. Hence the beautiful shade of red on the top of her head, and the eyebrow paint as well. But the picture is pretty.

And this is how all the paint ended up in her hair. Now she has a nice blue spot on the back of her head as well. This is when we decided we were done.

Just relaxing as she drives the Metro Bus. I can only imagine what she will look like in about 15 more years when she is really driving.
